In February 2024, the Seelinger Arts Foundation had the pleasure of presenting the play « On a feulé chez Monsieur Sloop » at the Alliance Française of Bangkok, in collaboration with Le Théâtre des Invités. Directed and performed by Agnès Seelinger, with assistance from Laurence Neveu, the production captivated the audience with its energy and finesse.
An absurd and delightful comedy
The play tells the story of a childless couple who argue incessantly until the unexpected arrival of a tiger in their hallway. This strange intrusion turns their chaotic daily life into a biting comedy, narrated through the testimony of Alexine, their maid, in a fictional courtroom.
A project born from collective commitment
This project came to life thanks to the generous support of Bernard Mazéas (Le Roux), who granted the rights for this production. We also warmly thank the Alliance Française of Bangkok for their logistical support and ticket management.
A 100% volunteer-driven production
The success of the play was made possible thanks to the full involvement of Le Théâtre des Invités, who handled the sets, logistics, and workshops entirely on a voluntary basis. It was a remarkable collective effort that allowed this project to flourish without any financial compensation.
The proceeds from the performance were shared between the Alliance Française and the Seelinger Arts Foundation, once again demonstrating our commitment to artistic projects with a strong spirit of solidarity.
