A look back at the masterclass at Creative Secondary School

On March 7, 2025, the Seelinger Arts Foundation led a two-hour masterclass at Creative Secondary School in Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong, for 8 drama students.

Exploring Stanislavski’s system

As part of their monologue preparation, the students explored several elements of Stanislavski’s system, including imagination, tempo and rhythm, emotional memory, objectives, and given circumstances. This approach helped them deepen their interpretation of texts and build more authentic, living characters.

Personalized coaching to refine performances

During the workshop, Agnès Seelinger worked individually with each student, helping them refine their acting skills and prepare for their upcoming performances scheduled for March 17 and 18. Through precise guidance and attentive work, the students were able to strengthen their understanding of acting techniques and approach their performances with greater confidence.

A charitable initiative to support theatre practice

This masterclass was offered free of charge, as part of the Seelinger Arts Foundation’s ongoing educational and charitable efforts. The Foundation continues to support the emergence of young talent and to make artistic practices more accessible to all.
